In 2008 I received my Bachelor of Arts from Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio. Immediately after graduation I was offered a First Grade teaching position in Topock, Arizona (this is a very rural area on the California/Arizona border). While teaching for three years at Topock Elementary I received my Masters of Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University (2011) in Flagstaff, Arizona.
